Blue Carbon Projects

Blue Carbon refers to the carbon captured by coastal and marine ecosystems such as mangroves, salt marshes, and seagrasses. These ecosystems store large amounts of carbon in both plants and soils, often more efficiently than forests. Protecting or restoring them helps remove CO₂ from the atmosphere, thereby generating carbon credits, while also providing coastal protection and biodiversity enhancement benefits.
